Carl Weathers death: NFL linebacker-turned-actor who starred in ‘Rocky,’ ‘Predator’ and ‘The Mandalorian,’ has died at 76

NEW YORK (AP) – — Carl Weathers, a former NFL linebacker who grew to become a Hollywood motion film and comedy star, taking part in nemesis-turned-ally Apollo Creed within the “Rocky” motion pictures, facing-off in opposition to Arnold Schwarzenegger in “Predator” and educating golf in “Completely happy Gilmore,” has died. He was 76.
