Chef Randy Lewis explores Cork’s food scene

In 2020 Randy Lewis, a Canadian chef and journey fanatic dwelling in Lahinch, Co Clare, began planning his Irish meals and journey journey which he would do in a VW Campervan.

He coated quite a lot of counties in simply six days, visiting a dozen meals companies and having fun with some nice Irish journey within the nice outdoor.

What units Randy aside is that he has been travelling and having fun with the flavours of faraway locations for over twenty years bringing the flavours again to his restaurant in Lahinch. He lives and learns by experiencing cultures and having fun with meals, landscapes and experiences.

Having put down roots right here in Eire he’s excited to be exploring the island he now calls residence.

On this six half mini-series, Randy and his cameraman hit the highway in a VW Campervan visiting Irish meals producers and companies. He visits a snail farm goes cliff leaping and discovers some hidden gems. Randy’s six days are jam-packed stuffed with meals, journey however most of all a snapshot of the fantastic Irish hospitality.
