Former San Jose State sports medicine director charged with sexually assaulting student athletes

Former San Jose State College sports activities drugs director and athletic coach Scott Shaw was charged Thursday with sexually assaulting feminine pupil athletes.

In accordance with a press launch from the Division of Justice (DOJ), Shaw, 54, is being charged with civil rights violations after allegedly sexually assaulting college students underneath the guise of treating them for accidents.

4 feminine pupil athletes allege that Shaw violated them between the years of 2017 and 2020, saying that he touched their breasts and buttocks with out consent and with no legit objective, in keeping with the DOJ.

Shaw is additional alleged to have acted underneath shade of legislation when he sexually assaulted victims as a consequence of his standing as a state worker for the California State College system.

Shaw might resist six years in jail if he’s convicted of all counts, per the DOJ.
