A dressing up malfunction on the season 7 premiere of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” ultimately led to an identification reveal for McTerrier, one of many first contestants on the present.
This season of “The Masked Singer” splits contestants into three groups — “The Good, the Dangerous, and the Cuddly.” McTerrier, from Workforce Good, was the primary to be eradicated within the competitors after singing Loverboy’s “Working for the Weekend.” After his efficiency, the singer — utterly unable to see outdoors his terrier headpiece — tripped on the sting of the stage and despatched his masks tumbling.
A restoration, and a few cautious hiding, prevented McTerrier’s identification from being revealed in that second. He was unmasked later within the episode, nevertheless, after being eradicated on the finish of the premiere.

After his elimination, McTerrier revealed himself to be baker and Meals Community host Duff Goldman, who stated that he “did not wanna get sued” after his masks tumbled off onstage.
“I assumed, like, Aw, no, you’ll be able to’t try this!'” Goldman instructed host Nick Cannon after the reveal. “After which like, , the masks. I used to be actually nervous I like, messed it up for everyone.”
Goldman instructed Selection that he was unable to see whereas in costume.
