The New York Rangers honored New Canaan’s Teddy Balkind earlier than their recreation Wednesday evening at Madison Sq. Backyard.
“All our love,” the staff tweeted together with a photograph of Balkind’s St. Luke’s hockey sweater hanging at its bench earlier than a recreation towards the Toronto Maple Leafs. The sophomore died Jan. 6 after struggling a minimize to his neck in a hockey recreation at Brunswick in Greenwich.
The Rangers’ gamers all wore Teddy Balkind’s title and No. 5 on New York sweaters in warmup.
