GREENWICH — Runners stepped off Sunday morning for the ninth annual Muddy Up 5K run placed on by the Boys & Women Membership of Greenwich at Camp Simmons in Greenwich.
The members needed to cross a number of mud pits and different pure and artifical obstacles in the course of the standard race.
Runners hosed off the mud with the help of the Greenwich Fireplace Division after the race.
Runners and walkers of all ages took half within the 3.1-mile journey on wooded trails.
The annual occasion is a fundraiser to help applications provided on the Boys & Women Membership of Greenwich.
