Well-known Hindi movie actor Farrukh Jaffar died on Friday following a mind stroke, her grandson stated.
She was 88.
Shaz Ahmed, Jaffar`s grandson, informed PTI, “My grandmother died at present at round 7 pm at Gomti Nagar residence following a mind stroke. Her final rites will happen on Saturday on the Aishbagh Kabristan.”
He stated Jaffar began her appearing profession with Bollywood movie Umrao Jaan in 1981, through which she performed the position of veteran actor Rekha`s mom.
Within the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Gulabo Sitabo, Jaffar performed the position of Fatima Beghum, he added.
Household sources stated that the actor was born in Chakesar village in Shahganj space of Jaunpur district and she or he got here to Lucknow after ending her preliminary research. She obtained married to S M Jaffar, former MLC and ex-UP Congress chief.
